Should have done some "research" before going out a blindly buying something based on somebodies "suggestion" than crying about it after and blaming the "e55" guys... haha

I did more than that. I provided decent information so others don't end up making the same mistake. Get off my

Hi Jon2007E63P30, on a complete side note do you happen to have a couple of pics of the rear diffuser installed on your car I could see? Thanks.

You ask for people's help, and in return you be a douche to them, way to go

You got it! I have the wrong fog lights on my car, I used nails, duck tape, and zap straps to make them work.

Again, what is wrong here? What harness? Have you thought of hid kit?
Sorry it didn't work out for you, just trying to help. We use everything oem on our e63 front conversions so this is weird. Also I firmly believe that the Hella is a better foglight.
And don't go bashing us "55 guys". Don't hate us for having torque.

I didn't ask. I said thank you to the information so confidently provided.

And, I know you don't have nails and duct tape because I clearly showed you and everyone the difference. And the mounting holes match. It just will not sit flush with the inside edge. Of course you might have some duct tape on your electrical connections.

On the OTHER hand, you might have the right fogs and just decided to let this erroneous information sit on the forum.

I certainly don't hate you for having torque. I envy you for being able to upgrade so easily with a tune compared to my NA engine.

My major frustration is this is the third time that mis-information has been provided about my car. Ironically, I vetted this one less than those in the past. It was amazing about how much crap I got when I questioned the validity of the information. I just wish there were seperate sub forums for the E55 W211 and the E63 W211.

Well, that and I have to bother with a return.

As for HID, I do not plan to go that route. No reason for giving law enforcement a valid reason to pull me over. It is actually federal law that makes it illegal to put an HID in a housing not designed for them. I know, I know, everyone does it, just like speeding.

Ok well I just got a call from my body shop and they said the I need a new cover for the rear of my new e63 fog lights? They said the holes etc match up but the cover for the back end needs a new cover? Also he mentioned a new wire that I need to make the fogs work? Any help??

BTW I only have halogen fogs NOT hids...does this make a difference?

LOL Tony. At least the sound is quiter now after blowing one of my week old JL 12w6's.

Daniel, replied to your pm. I remember now why I haven't ran into this problem is because I swapped in the correct size hid kit right away. Halogen fogs are a thing of the past after that. The wire you're talking about is there w the hid kit.
