i can't speak about renntech since I don't have it...but I have ghost lowering links. The ride is like stock and my wife drives the car..she can't notice any harshness.
There are some other similar type threads on the forum on lowering the vehicle.
Probably switch to renntech later on..it's nice to raise or lower your vehicle on the fly.

Thanks, Using star only dropped it so much... i had to finish it off with the links, about another inch. I dont think any mod is dealer approved.

Also lowered via Star Diagnostics at a Benz Specialist. Great results and they were able to lower mine around 2 inches.

i had my lowered by my dealer too but it barely changed. i don't think they know what they are doing. ordered the lowering link from germany. we will see how that works out. the big gap is killing me slowly everyday.

yeah they definitely did something wrong. it's not "trivial", need to set the height and then "memorize / approve" it

so is it "better" to have star lowered or link lowered? i don't need "rubbing" low but i don't want a 4" gap either. is there a instruction for star diag somewhere i can show the dealer guys what to do?

Just upped another picture. What you see in the pictures is the lowest they can go with Star. I think software based lowering is better than links because in my case I have air and the air pressure is corrected to maintan the comfort and not blowing any dampers.

that's about how low my CL is. it was lowered electronically as well. my dealer is a small one in pa. they never heard of this before i mentioned to them. wish someone has some instructions. too bad it's not a universal number system for all cars, otw i can just tell them to set it. i understand that it takes a lot of trial and error to set it that low.

To bad. My car was lowered by my local MB-dealer. I'm using the same mechanic every time. He is a trained MB diagnostic technician, and have learned how to do this from MB. They also use it to lower ML's, sometimes the customer wants to lower the car if they are travelling with ferries etc and the car is "to big".
