7 seats in the W211 AMG wagon - yes or no?

7 seats in the W211 AMG wagon - yes or no?
Trying to get an answer, say it ain't so, but has the rear facing 3rd row gone with the introduction of the W212 E63 AMG?

Their is no 3rd row seating, that I'm aware of in the W211 E63 Wagon, it only seats 5 adults. I believe it was the W210 Wagon, that had a pop up bench seat for kids, hidden under the floor.

I have an 05 W211 E55 Wagon and it has the 3rd row seat (which actually does come in handy). Maybe that's the last model AMG wagon to have the 3rd row option?

My '06 E55 wagon has the 3rd row seat option as well. I seem to seeing adverts of 211 E63 wagon with the 3rd row too. Don't see any reason why it would have gone away with the change from 55 to 63.
Be aware there is a tradeoff on the 211. If you get the 3rd row seat, you lose the spare tire. Instead of an inflatable spare and compressor, you get a can of fix a flat and a compressor. There isn't enough room under the folding seat for the AMG spare, though conventional wagons can fit the (different) spare under the seat.

This topic confused me, as our 05 E55 sure has the third row. That said, I wouldn't wish it on anyone over the age of 8.
But with 5 kids under six years old, it will be useful for awhile.
