Yes it is , I have done two brake jobs on my car.
I make sure that I turn off the towing alarm.

Wow, got to give this a try. Everyone is telling me it needs to be done with star. Are yall using a power bleeder also?

As long as your keys are not around you and the doors are not opened, SBC is disabled. To even make sure, you can go to the SBC box and pull up the lever and remove it from the box, this will def deactivate the SBC

I use the power flusher that pressurizes the master cylinder adding fresh fluid and bleed out the calipers. Every 2 yrs I flush this way until each caliper flushes clear fluid.
