Dads C63 BS Sedan Conversion
I started a new thread because I will not be duplicating this package in any way since SGA has already gone there. All I will tell you is that these are all OEM BS parts. The front fenders and bumper all bolted on for the most part. As noted already the head lights are slightly different but until MB can assure me they can be exchanged I'll live with the old style and some small gaps. Front pictures are post #133 here https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...fenders-6.html
The rear fenders and doors are taking MANY hours to fabricate custom brackets and welding but in the end it will be worth it. Many will think its over the top and I'm okay with that. Here we go:
Stay tuned.

It's going to be a show stopper when it's done. What a project. Truly a unique piece.

You are crazy Keith. I love how you dig into your car and just make things happen. Other people (Myself included) just wouldnt do the things you have done. The BS Sedan will be one of a kind and look even better than the Coupe in my opinion.
Cant wait to see the final pics.

The last time the car was out we were drag racing. I have to run the stock C300 rear brake rotor and calipers in order to get the smaller wheels on there. Giving away a simple drag racing tip for those paying attention.
The AMG brake package goes back on when we road race which is next.

I bought the two BS front fenders and bumper and then when they got them installed to paint the stock C63 side rocker panels didn't line up with the wider fenders. The body shop suggested that I get the BS rockers and he would make them work. However, they are so different from the stock C63 panels he couldn't make them work and then the conversation turned into the rear bumper which we bought and it bolted right up and then came the rear quarter panels. It exploded and I just stood there watching the project get bigger and bigger.

wowow. i'm at a lost for words. Can't wait to see the final results!
Wondering if you actually used the OEM quarter panel fenders? did you cut them out and graft them on to your car?

This is a serious transformation...bravo! I wouldn't have the guts to chop my car up the way you have....can't wait to see the finished product. I'd love to see how it compares with the custom widebody of the goldrush C63 (which is stunning.)

So the stock BS rear bumper cover fits on the sedan, you bought the quarters from the BS and grafted them onto the sedan, and the flared portion of the rocker molding was cut to be grafted onto the doors, and you are still able to use the rocker molding. Phew! Did I get that right?
PS-Please ignore the grammar.
EDIT-I see that they also grafted a portion of the quarter to be used on the doors. This crew you have is very skillful. Your car will be truly unique. Please don't ever store it away in a barn somewhere.
