Widebody Prior design.Wheel setup questions.

Hello.

I have decide to buy a (Widebody) Prior design Black edition kitt at my car.

http://www.prior-design.de/sl_blacke...available_now#

I now some of you have Misha,Prior design and so on at the cars.
Can someone of you give info about the wheel setup you use at your widebody car?

Thank you.
Juha

Here you can see another pictures about the kit.
One picture is an CL Black edition.

I have bought last year from Prior an SL63 AMG facelift version with SL65 AMG Black series hood. The fitment was 95%. Not 100%. I took a risk and paint al parts first and after that I install everything. I trust at the dealer when he told me the fitment is good..

So it cost me only 3900 D incl the freight costs and I think I have the whole kit here in two weeks from Germany.

Any info about the widebody wheel specs??? Or is't a secret?

Juha

Well good luck with the build. I hope you document it all w/ plenty pics.

Any rough estimates on what the build will cost, or how much do you expect it will cost you?

.

I have already the front light and grille so I don't need to buy them.
Only thing I must spend money on is the paint work and it cost approx 3000-5000 USD... so all together would be somewhere 7000-10000 USD.

One thing more... I need wider wheels and tires also.... 4000-6000 USD more.
so between 11000-16000 USD.

Cool. Well it will look like a $200k car when its all said and done! You can talk to Sal from Sarona.com about the Wheel specs, they also make the widebody kit. 718-446-2350 Their in Queens, NY. Did you get a good deal on the lights and grill? Cheapest lights I found are $1600 for the set and $550 for the grill!

Here in Finland the cars cost the double than there.... Her In whole Finland I'm the only SL600 owner ( I bought this (2004) last year from Germany used). New car cost here at least 380 000 USD and the Black series at least 500 000 USD... and it's true.
I bought last year the SL63AMG facelift (2009+) version and put it on so the light's it's ready at the car.... and one more good thing is that I have a customer who have offer me about SL63AMG parts approx 6000 USD so I have made a very very good deal.
I have been in New York few years ago (Holliday).... nice and clean town.... My daugther love it. She have been there now two times.

Okay thank you... I'm gone contact Sarona today by e-mail... and look what they can offer me. I must pay approx 30% taxs on all parts I bring to EU.

Thank you again.

Maybe up for sale, buyig lightweight Track package. Rennen's are only12 months old, bought brand new from Chris@FXautosports they'll come w/Brand new TPMS-System
& lightly used Pilots (only put on 6k miles since NEW 12 months ago) 345/25/20 rears
256/30/20 fronts..
Paid $6,500.00 USD I'd sell for $2,900.00 USD NOT including shipping.. They are PRISTINE/MINT 3-piece Super Concave wheeels, tey were 1st/ony set made by Rennen 12 mo ago. Check my "Anger-Manageent SLM build" thread for pix

The OFF-SETS are proprietary info, though my setup is PERFECT, & uses NO SPACERS just straight bolton, also includes custom black lug nutts. I see NO reason (since you bought Black Series wide version Prior kits) Again ZERO DENTS/SCRATCHES/or Wheel/Curb rash.. Shipping would be extra & if I don't get my very reasonable asking price? I'll just keep them..

I Could/Would have my painter add a 1/4" 1/8" pinstripe in "Grey" for an even $3k though shipping extra, again these wheels aren't chrome they're brushed silver underneath the gloss black paint, you could EASILY have body/shop or wheel specialist strip the gloss black off for WAY less than $400 then add your pinstripe or I'll have it added before sale/shipping

Only reason I'm willing to go to these lengths if I sell them I'll spring for the HRE's if I get extra $ from sale of current 20"s the NEW HRE lightweight wheels will be around $7,500 w/new wheels/Tires/TPMS price is greatly enhanced if I go HRE vs CCW they're half cost of HRE'a (going 18" all around much lighter, & huge 4"4.5" sidewall for much needed traction my setup makes 633 rwhp on 91 octane)

I've seen worse damage on OEM Mercedes AMG wheels, depends on a ton of variables IE did he hit a curb @ speed or a monster pothole? & Rennen seems to have replaced the wheel under warranty...

Personally I've hit some decent CA ***** roads/potholes (& owned multi other brands of expensive 3 piece wheels they ALL bent or cracked easily) But these Rennen-Modulars are freakin bullet proof not a dent, scratch, nada! After driving for 12 months I'm nothing but shocked @ quality of these wheels.

Add Rennen-Modulars attention to detail during sale & after purchase, + Chris @ FXautosport who sold them to me, I'd be buying another set but they DON'T make a light weight performance oriented wheel in the 20-23 lb each wheel range I'm after. Honestly go look deep enough & you'll find worse stories/posts on those Savani's or and Formerly forged 360 now ADV.1 the list goes on & on

I'll just keep my Rennen's & buy the CCW's it'll be a huge perk whenever I decide to sell the SL, thanks for your interest & wished I could've been more helpful on offsets but each wheel Co. Gaurds that info etc good luck w/those Savani's

Be extra careful I actually know of few friends with personal stories too.. Dig a bit deeper you'll see why Savini's are less expensive too.

There are several threads on this site about Savini and their poor products, and poor customer service. They are not worth what you pay for....there is finish problems, vibration problems, leaking problems to name a few...Once you buy them then you are screwed if any issues arise.DO NOT BUY SAVINI WHEELS OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.__________________MUSTANG...Like Bringing a Hot Dog to a Steak Dinner....There is no comparison.

Theriker.

I found this at internet.... I think this wheel setup is very close as your setup?

I have no answer from Savini yet.

I have very bad experience with Rennen also. (Beware them). I bought this wheels to my M5 E60 and the lips blow out only after few months.... big fight in many months.... they promise a lot. ROB me approx 200 USD.
