The last time Advance Auto had the oil on sale I went to Autozone to see if they would price match. 1 store let me, 1 store said they don't price match oil. I just got off the phone with Autozone corporate to confirm the policy and they said they DO match.

While they list the 5.1 qt jugs at $38.10 ($7.47/qt), they cost more and are not in stock.

But the single quart bottles are in stock and much cheaper:

$5.99/qt * 5 = $29.95 minus $12 rebate = $17.95 ($3.59/qt)!!! WOW, now THAT's a super great deal!!!

This offer says you have to send in the rebate form which can be obtained from the participating retailer. I forgot to get an official form, surely we can use this and cross out Amazon?

I went to my local NAPA dealer on March 7th. They didn't have 10 quarts, so they ordered a case and the rebate forms, which they also did not have. I just returned there last Friday, and they told me that NAPA is NOT a participating retailer, and that's why they didn't have the rebate forms when I first went there. And NOW, NAPA is NOT listed in the chart of Participating Locations (although they WERE listed there March 6 when I first posted the link).

SO, it looks like Advance Auto Parts has the best deal at $33.99 for 5 qts or 5 Plus Qts Jug and any Mobil 1 Oil Filter IF the filter is worth more than $4 to you or someone else who can use it. (Beware of their paper filters vs the Fleece filters that M-B uses, so probably get the Mobil 1 filter for a different vehicle.)

Otherwise NAPA's sale price of $5.99/qt is still the best deal - even without the rebate - with no limit.
