Turn signal / steering stalk click noise

This is probably normal but I would still like to confirm...........
After signaling for a turn (either R or L) I begin to turn the steering wheel in the appropriate direction, when I get to about 25 degrees or so I can hear a small click. Past this point, returning the steering to 0 degree position would cancel the turn signal. Same exact behavior on the other side. Is it normal to actually hear the click sound??

Hello,
Any update?
It's needed to repla the entire indicator body? Or is an easy fix?

It is completely normal to hear this click, and it indicates that the mechanism is working as it should. In fact, it is a sign that the turn signal system is designed to help you automatically deactivate the turn signal after a turn, and this ensures a safer and smoother ride.

It sounds like you're experiencing the common 'clicking noise' that often comes from the turn signal stalk in the A45/A35 models. It's likely due to the mechanism inside the stalk that's responsible for the turn signal activation. If it's bothering you, I’d suggest getting it checked out by a certified Mercedes technician, as it might be something that can be lubricated or adjusted to reduce the noise. But overall, it's a known characteristic of the design in many Mercedes-Benz vehicles, not necessarily a fault.
