Anyone else going from 911 to ‘24 GT coupe?

Anyone else trying to decide between 911 and amg gt? Way back when I started this thread, I went to go pick up the gt55 they were holding for me but it didn't have back seats. And so I picked up an X5M. And while it is a lot of fun and very practical...I miss having a more engaging experience. so I'm back to 911 vs amg. 911 will retain value better regarding msrp. But you can find a used amg gt63 with below 1k miles for like $40k off of msrp. So i'm wondering if they will continue to decrease...I really think they will level out and be a pretty good value at that $140-150k range. A comporable 911 would be at the least a GTS and then you are looking at $185k at least. So just trying to weigh everything out.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Second best was a 2005 C240 4Matic Wagon that lasted 280,000mi.

Another customer at the shop I go to for mechanical work was doing the 911 comparison and ended up in a Vantage. He regrets it....I seriously think that the main reason we opt out of a 911 is because we want something different, special. 90% of the population can not tell a 911(base) from a GT2 from a Boxter....but, when they see a "James Bond Car'....well, THAT is a special car. But, behind the wheel? Nope, not a 911.
Sometimes I hate going to the mechanics.....(image from outside)

In contrast my Mercedes guy went out of his way to figure out how to help and find an allocation. The test drive was also much more exciting. Not sure I’ll make it back to Porsche unless they change their ways. They’re starting to feel way to much like Ferrari.
