Quote: So I was shopping around for an AMG GTR and then one of the mercedes dealerships offered a 2024 GT63 which had a price tag of $200k plus tax CAD.

the shocking part is that he was willing to sell the 2024 GT to me for 165k CAD but personally wouldnt pick 2024 GT over 2020 GTR.

Was curious if people are seeing similar discounts in their areas too? Assuming this platform is not doing too well coz ive never experienced or heard of a mercedes rep giving such a steep discount on a brand new car!?
It’s just supply and demand.

When I bought my brand new 2019 AMG GTC (with an awesome spec, fully loaded), is was 25% off. There were about 50 AMG GT available across Canada at that time (summer of 2019).
After that, Mercedes reduced supply and prices went back up. Then Covid hit, further raising demand relative to supply.

You should be able to get 25% off a new AMG GT and 30% off on a new SL63 currently.

Anybody getting year end "deals" on GT 55 or GT63's? Either 2024 or 2025's?

Has anyone gotten 20-30% off a 2024?

Please share any insights..many thanks!

well i mentioned a similar case where dealership instantly offered a 20% discount with zero negotiation on a 2024 GT63. Im assuming if youre really interested you could probably bring them down more with some negotiation as they seem a little desperate to get rid of these cars with the demand being relatively low.
