Call me crazy, but......Car Wash

Call me crazy, but has anyone taken a 2025 AMG GT 55 or GT 63 Coupe with the fixed rear wing Aero Package through a car wash? I was wondering if the fixed rear wing was damaged from the car wash?

if that’s your car in the pic and it’s matte and you tooo it through a drive through wash you already mad w white mistake regardless of if the wing is ok. Always hand wash only or get professionally detailed those car washes almost always break scratch and hurt cars like this

As said, don't take a Magno car through a car wash with brushes. Touchless only, which will also avoid any issue with the fixed wing. I never use car washes with brushes in the USA ever, even with gloss paint. They do not clean those brushes, unless it's some kind of a high end car wash for high end cars. I've taken my car through car washes with brushes while doing European Delivery. Didn't really have a choice. At a minimum I was required to wash the car before dropping it off to be shipped to the USA, but Germany etc. has high end automatic car washes all over. I specifically sought out car spas that also advertised to be able to handle wide wheels. It's not just the brushes, but the conveyer belts also don't necessarily accommodate the fat wheels/tires. Use a car wash that doesn't drag the car through it and instead the equipment moves around the car and use only touchless car washes if you care about your paint, and want to avoid anything being ripped off the car.
