GT/C192/R192: Charging the battery

If that is owner's manual for the GT, the owner's manual for the CLE53 is the same exact thing - and fairly useless for naming the battery type and location. I cannot find the verdict on this in any written documents supplied though MBZ.
I know (at least I think I do) that AGM tenders won't work on Li-Ion batteries if the tenders get hooked up. I'm not saying go try it, however, it shouldn't work.

You don’t need to access the physical battery. Between new trickle chargers and Mercs onboard charging dynamics, you just hook up the leads to the pos and neg and plug in the trickle to the wall.

Can get them on Amazon for like 50-60 bucks.
I’ve charged all sorts of different cars with them, including my RS6 that has a 12 volt acid and a 48 volt lithium ion. I just hooked it up to the under hood points like in the above pictures and it kept the batteries charged through harsh Canadian winters.

I keep getting that dreaded email that my 12v battery is low.
Edit will this work
What kind of battery do we have in the C192 GT63? AGM or LiO

So I had someone check the trunk and underneath ... voila a white box with the MBZ trickle. There is also cigarette input in the trunk which I was not sure would work or not to charge the battery so Ill just go the traditional post route in the engine bay.
Thanks again for all the input here.
