Wondering if anyone has done an ECU tune yet for their AMG GT 55? If so, would love to hear your thoughts....positive or negative.

I haven’t yet, but I’m planning on getting the Renntech one for my ‘25 GT55 Coupe as soon as I hit the 1000 mile mark. Seems like a no-brainer to spend the $3k to have near-GT63 power, and I would imagine it’ll be a very safe tune since the car is identical to the GT63.
Side note from your other thread: my car still is missing all the burbles and pops like yours did initially. Did you have any more info to share from the technicians? I don’t know if it matters if I take it in now or if I can just wait until after the break-in period.
Awesome! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Renntech ECU....that would be the only one I would consider. Are you getting the Renntech warranty with this?
And, my dealer never sent me details on what they did to get the burbles back....I will reach out again....BUT....they can definitely fix this for you....and it's SOOO worth it! This is how the car was engineered by AMG...so it should be making this sound. The service advisor thinks it was some kind of tech reset....but I will find out.
Jordy...here is the description of what MB did to find my burbles (cracks & pops) on overrun/downshifting)....this should be enough to help your dealer fix for you....good luck!
So Im used to a cheap easy plug and play walk away device. The gains are not aggressive and on 91 its even less but the hp/tq gain per buck is fair. Ill update here after its on.
No RaceBox or Dragy times but there is definitely a gain in the SOTP feel. I have turned it off and on on the same roads over and over and the aggressive behavior of how the boost comes on and holds is stronger. Its not some exponential box adjuster but I think the gains are around 50hp and 60tq (as claimed) which is fine for me and the pricepoint. Plus I can take it off and not have any ECU mods if I need to bring it in for warranty.
