Sheesh. Looks like some little rock hit and ko'd my right grill prox sensor thing. I'm too scared to take it to Benz or a private shop to hear what it's going to cost.

 

Your cost will be more than mine--- mine is just a simple unbolt and rebolt the new rubber piece.

Contrary to what I thought- the underneath front spoiler is not air filled but instead a mechanism deploys down and pushes the rubber part lower creating that venturi effect.

If I were you Id go indy on the repair.

So I turned off both my RC and RC XLR for the drive to the dealer (~20 miles) and boy this car just isnt the same. Less aggression, less power, just less overall and yet the GT63 is still a very fast car. Im glad I have these cheap adds.

Dealer owner is a friend so it was done for free and no charge for the part!!!

 

Glad you’re back in business! Always feels good to finally fix a broken part. I’m still waiting for the time to take mine to a shop to replace that sensor. Bugs me every time I drive right now seeing that error message.

Blackout the front to include the headlights, I think it looks more aggressive this way, still looking for a genuine black hood badge, not the crap on ebay.
The tint on the headlights does not significantly dim the brightness at night, specially if I use high bean then is still really clear on dark roads

Any issues with front scraping when you driveo ut of the driveway? Just got my GT 55 yesterday and learning about how cautious to be with those entries and exits!
