Are we sure it isn't just another AI rendered image? I saw those pics on social media, the article you referenced and Top Gear Mag. But they don't look real to me. Maybe I'm jaded, but I'm hating AI more and more every day.

Ist it really going to be hybrid? Any search I make for it is taking me to the new interior reveal lol. I can’t see how they would make the flagship GT coupes hybrids but anything is possible in this day and age.

I have seen the prototype. Based on the specs I think it will be ok

 

You should see the specs of my hummer ev. Thing is almost as fast in a straight line as my amg. Doesn’t mean I’m going to have fun driving 9000lbs fast!

 

The GT Coupe is beautiful but a porker unlike its predecessor. In the GT63 SE trim, with 4800lbs almost EV weight. The EV uses axial flux motors by Yasa which are very light, so we'll have to see how much heavier the car will be than that. Hopefully just a couple hundred pounds? We'll see.
If it stays at 1340hp and can charge at 840kw this car will be interesting.
We were invited to the AMG GT XX launch event in Afalterbach and came away impressed with the car. We'll have to see how gimmicky the whole fake sound thing is though…
