New AMG GT Black Series coming (X192)

Just thought I share a couple of pics of two new models coming. One is the new AMG GT Black Series and one the GT3 model.

According to AMG the most radical Black Series ever...on the basis of the concept AMG GT Track Sport
  • V8 BiTurbo with flatplane and dry sump
  • Sidepipes (Comeback of the McLaren-Mercedes SLR) in front of rear wheels
  • wide rear diffuser
  • racetrack lowering to lower the center of gravity (likely like the AMG One)
  • Michelin Cup2 R front 325/35 ZR20 and rear 355/30 ZR21
  • active Aero with DRS (downfoldable) rear wing for more top speed in straights
  • airflow through the fenders
  • aktive wheel ventilation via fender flaps like the AMG to reduce pressure in the wheel arch and to optimize downforce

Guess I overlooked the this was already posted in the C190 section

First time I see real center locks on an AMG road car AMG has been dominating in GT3 so sharing fundamentals with BS will be a good thing and from the sound of it there is lots to like. The car will be lighter than the current GT coupe, have proper brake cooling, AMG One aero and who doesn't like side exhausts.

Really excited to see the final specs on the flat plane v8. I love the side exhausts, plus the air intake is chefs kiss.

Looking at the proportions of the upcoming AMG GT BS I am getting vibes from the C190 instead rather than the current model. Length of hood, hood vent (based on the holes in the camo) would indicate a front-mid engine placement...

Same active fender vents like the AMG One. Same with the dropped ride height in track mode
