OEM Brake Rotor Parts and Coats

Can anyone tell me why there are three rotors listed for the front of the car and why they are so expensive? Are the $3.5k rotors carbon ceramic and the $1.3k rotors steel? I assume the listed costs are per rotor.

This website doesn't correctly identify part numbers. Enter your VIN and look here: https://originalteile.mercedes-benz.de/teilekatalog

You can also enter the VIN in the link I provided and it shows the same thing. What I can’t tell is if the listed brake front rotor for $1,300 has both rotors for steel brakes. It has to be because if that was per rotor, then parts alone for all four wheels including pads would approach $7k.

So, I think the parts alone for a full brake job are: $1,379 + $400 + $1,687 + $480 = $4,000ish. I wonder how long rotors last on these cars and is resurfacing rotors even a thing today?

This website doesn't identify part numbers correctly. Check on the German website.
