Wireless chargers can be finicky, especially if the phone is in a case and there's a mat or something else in addition. Another issue is the protruding camera lenses that prevent the phone from lying flat. There have been software updates at times to fix issues with newer phones. Mine is of course an older generation, but FWIW it no longer works with my iPhone 16 Pro. It worked fine with my iPhone XS I had before. TBH, I've mostly given up on wireless chargers, unless they are MagSafe. I had to replace the wireless charger on my desk with a MagSafe wireless charger, because the old one I had also didn't work anymore with my iPhone 16. If they work in a car, then great, but I often have to use USB in rental cars as the wireless charger doesn't work. It's especially problematic in cars, and even more so in firmer riding ones such as the GT, because the phone bounces and moves around.
