Sorry guys, I never made it back out to the track. It ended up raining and then I was out of town with the family for Memorial Day weekend. Rain in the forecast off and on all week. Trying to get back to the track tomorrow. Also trying to get back on the dyno today. I leave for Vegas on Friday so if you do not hear from me before then it means the weather did not cooperate. I can tell you that the car runs noticeably stronger with the tune. A little more popping and backfiring on decal but that is to be expected.

Hey Jim,
a bit of thread and you might have detailed this elsewhere but i haven't been on the forum for a while...anyway, how come you got rid of the SLS BS so quickly?? Would love to hear your commentary on that .

I have been meaning to post an update and share some photos. I recently installed the Weistec mid and downpipes(and ECU tune). I was impressed the moment I opened the UPS package. They are things of beauty with easily the best welding I have ever seen from an aftermarket company. I literally called up Steve at Weistec to ask if the welds were done by a human or a machine/robotics. When he said they were done by a human I laughed and said I hope you are paying your welder well. The quality and fit is perfect. Also a bit lighter than the stock stuff which is an added bonus. I immediately noticed an improvement in acceleration and the car sounds even better than stock both on idle and WOT. Anyone looking for a little more out of their GT-S should look into these, they are a great value IMO....I can not wait for Weistec the turbo upgrades and manifold

Great stuff Jim... I drove their shop car with Steve a few weeks back, what a riot the car is. The burbles, the pops, the gun fire!!!!! The speed with the tune was incredible and the car can really get loose with all that new found tq.
