One year old and ist. service
My Ed. 1 is now a year old and just went in for the first service. In addition to the required service, two software updates were done, one for the transmission and one for the esp. and the turbo line campaign inspection was performed with no problem found. Apparently there is a know problem with an oil line not having the proper crimp and leaking a little oil. (I know some of you are experiencing a hot oil smell in your garages) A cam sensor was replaced as I experienced two occasions on a hot start of rough idling and check engine light on. Front suspension parts are on order, 5 to 6 weeks out, to fix the front end pop I rarely experience. Although I did not buy the car at the servicing dealership, I could not have been treated better. (Wesley Chapel MB) A year later I still love my GTS and she will remain with the "fleet". There is still nothing out there I like better. Compared to first year problems I experienced with other sports cars, the GTS has been excellent.

Good news...
Next month, I'll have my first service. 1 year. No problems to report here.
I also had my car tuned and my car is performing beyond expectations.
I had all my computer updates completed prior to the tune and don't expect any further updates in the near future.
So far, this is a great car.

Front end parts are in
The parts are finally in to hopefully fix my front end popping noise. All the parts man could tell me they are strut parts. In she goes on Monday and we shall see.

Thanks for the nice report card I too have had zero issues the entire AMG GTS ride had been flawless so far for me as well. How many miles have you put on in the 1st year of driving?

Trouble free motoring
Thank you for your report.
MY ED 1 is about the same vintage and I recently also went for annual service, which turned out to be purely routine except for two software updates.
Enjoying the heck out of this car, burning no oil, losing no coolant and have had zero issues.
One year of pure motoring pleasure and thumbs up from everyone.
Last and by no means least - I am absolutely delighted of how few GTS are on the road and I truly hope it stays that way.
