What to look for in used rims
I was looking for a set of used wheels to use with a winter set up . I came across OEM 5 spoke satin black GTS wheels locally. What do I look for before buying them ?
Are these wheels good for running winter tires? My second choice were new Signature wheels.

GTS, GTC, GTR all have different offsets. Make sure you match from model to model. I have a set of rear 9 spoke GTC wheels that will not fit a GTS. Also, the GTC and GTR are both 12" rear wheels vs 11" on the GTS.

If allowed by the seller, you could always take them to have them inspected at a good tyre installation shop or agree to a return if the wheel
is not ‘true’.

Those look great but biggest risk is that the wheel took a hit that knocked it 'out of round', that's hard/impossible to fix and will cause vibrations you'll never get rid of. Check them over carefully and if no visible damage then it's probably ok.

These wheels are new, bought them straight from Germany and found that they wouldn't work for what I wanted. They are in great shape. Just garage decoration now
