Rear View Mirror Radar Detector Install???
Hi to all,
I just bought a black on black 05 CLK 320 three days ago and love it!! Now I'm looking for upgrades and particularly a radar detector. I'd like to be able to integrate the V1 radar detector. A while back I saw a picture of the red warning lights from the radar detector integrated with the rear view mirror. I can no longer find that picture and have done a search on this subject but can't find any answers. I live in the Southern California area and was wondering if anyone knows where I can go to get this installed? Thank you for your time.

I actually did this in my old truck, I dont rem what model i had detector but it was small. I had to mount the board sideways and rewire many things to make it fit and work. Took about 3 days but it was sexy....... Too bad that truck got totaled.
I plan on doing this soon for my benz,,,,, ive been putting it off for nearly a year now
