good man on the purchase of that V1, i swear by it yeah that g class windshield poses a problem for the install of the v1, if u want, install the v1 on ur visor, and use a concealed display showing u the info inside the dash where ur speedometer is

so how did you get the v1 to stay on the windshield? if you search you can find a easy way to hardwire it to the overhead console.

uh ... id tell you how i installed my v1 on my g class if i owned one. a g class ... that kina sorta presents a problem yeah, sorry for the sass w/ the reply but i do not own a g class, although i had another idea on the mounting, get some of that cool plastic sheet that holds things on the dashboard its like this piece of rubber that doesnt feel sticky to the human hand, but holds electronics n such in place very well , and put ur v1 on top of that over the center dash console where that vent is, the upper visor mount would be the easiest and frankly thats all u really need
