15 in sub against 2-12 in subs, which one?
Any solutions???????? Thank's in advance
Also space restrictions.
But in general the larger the sub the lower the frequency it can produce efficiently.
Why not put two 15 inch subs in?
Exactly... It all depends on the installation.
Placing two 12inch subs facing each other and 12 inches apart is not good!
The main problem being the slight phase differences between the subs may cause problems as the speakers are too close together, but then again you may not notice it.
Also look at the quality of the subs, their resonant frequency, the manufacturers specification of cubic inches of box space etc... etc...
All these effect the result!
The simple solution is just fit what you want to do!
I've just in the flow of fitting a 13 speaker / 5 amp system into a Mitsu Shogun!
The guy is not interested in quality , just how loud will it be, and how good it looks!
Otherwise I would only fit a 7 speaker system in!
???
I dunno ... some people...

Mark
