...on my new (to me) CL600 '01. It just started happening, the comand display is normal. It only happens when the engine is running, it seems, and cuts out for 3 secs every 2 minutes with fair regularity. I haven't done anything to the circuit except light bulb changes (same wattage) and it's been 350 miles since I last touched anything other than drive it. Total mileage: 35800.

Any ideas?

Do you have a built-in phone? When you have a voicemail message, the radio will cut out momentarily. Its the only audible warning you get. Drive me crazy on an S500 some years ago before I figured it out.

Yes, built in Motorola, and I forward my regular cell to it when I'm in the car because for 9.95 a month, it was worth it to re-activate the phone.
