Exclamation Stealthy Sirius Installation into W209

Hi! I used to have the Blaupunkt Sirius receiver in my 2004 CLK500, but I saw some post here of a guy who wanted to buy a new Sirius Receiver that had a small display.. so I thought, can I put it in my ashtray? I took out the ashtray, took out the tray, the lighter - basically gutted it, and made a metal bracket. Woohoo! This looks so much better! I put the brain in the passenger side footwell. It's next to this silver box thing that gives me 3 isolated 12v lighter outputs. It helps alleviate any alternator whine from iPods, Minidisc players, etc.

Well, I'm kind of glad that I didn't mount the Sidekick in the center console, since I changed to a Blackberry. The install cost me nothing, since I did it all myself...

I'm taking out that cigarette lighter triple outlet in the footwell, since I don't need it.

Nope, I have the Aux-in that MBenzNL installed when he put in my TV tuner. The radio mute feature, though was a hardwire run to the back of the radio. I have a hardwire kit for a Blackberry now, and it mutes the radio, and pauses the CD when I get or make a phone call.
