COMMAND question

I know that this system has been around for a few years now and overgone some changes along the way. Does anybody know of a site(or can list it here) detailing any differences or what has changed from each MY? Thanks for your help.

Apparently this is more challenging than I thought.

Command

Hellcat,

It's sort of a difficult question because there are so many different command units aka they differ by model line meaning a SL command is not the same as the S command.

In general however, the new 16:9 widescreen command is a significant improvement over the older unit in terms of interface and functionality. There are also significant differences between US and European command units. I would suggest going to mbenznl.com and reading about command there. It's mainly a comparison between US and Euro COMMANDs but it's a start.

Here's a picture with some of the older classic COMAND (one M) versions:

Thanks for the picture and I'll check out the other website too. I figured they would change depending on model year but I didn't think about being different in different classes of car during the same year. Makes sense though, the S/SL is probably a lot nicer than the C version.
