Swapping 6210 prewire for 6310i UK spec 2001 S 320
Hi,
All I am new here and learning. I originally posted this in the W220 forum before realising that we have an expert area.
I have a UK 2001 S 320 L ...awesome. It comes complete with linguatronic and pre wired phone kit for a Nokia 6210 all factory fitted. The dealer tells me a that it will cost a fortune to convert which is usually b*llocks.
I have had a screwdriver out and under the centre console is the wiring for the phone (thick and curly) and another what looks like a Fibre optic interface. Can i simply buy a 6310i cradle with the 2 cables and then just fit it or do I have to do anything else to it? New control box, antennae adaptors etc.
Any advice appreciated. Great site.
