confusion...v60 to v600?

confusion...v60 to v600?
Sorry if it's obvious but I'm confused. If my early '04 E55 has the v60 setup, can I purchase a v600 and cradle from the dealer and make it work? Or does the v600 require a different phone "brain" in the trunk..?

i just asked the exact same question in another thread. the answer is no. the v600 phones will only work with 2005 models and on. look for the other thread for more info.

the question is "if he can buy a v600 from the dealer" so the answer is no. you can buy a regular v600 and get the mikbox to make it work.

uh.. it CAN'T be done. MikBox doesn't work with the w211.
