Replace speakers in C55
Replace speakers in C55
Hasnt anyone replaced the speakers in a C55 as yet, I have DynAudio speakers I want to install but I do not have the chutzpah to start the install with out advice.........someone somewhere HELP!!!!!!!

, but Bose / Harmon Kardon spent a lot of time and money to build the speakers for the car to get the correct air space and position them in the right areas. They are just under powered and need an amp. I think you should just get an amp and power the stock speakers, it will sound a lot better.

....made in china, which the speaker cost them about $3 dollars.....
....to get the amp and power the made in china speakers won't get the job done.....

I too was very unpleased with the stock speakers.......they don't get very loud because the amp wouldn't be able to produce enough clean power, so it limits there volume.
I normally always upgrade the speakers, but with the suggestion of my audio tech I tried just powering the stock speakers with an amp and I was amazed. They really sound good and full. Added 2 12" subs and it sounded even better
almost all speakers cost dollars to make, except for the expensive ones that are for SQ freaks, and even those are only like 20 bucks

yep.......the best listening tools is your ears........whatever speaker you get......if it sound good for you then that the best speaker for you......
