Go get a VW harness and swap the constant and ignition wires. You will also need an antenna adapter. You will also need some german radio removal tools to remove the radio, that can be found in some autozones.

I merged both of your threads. Lets not start another on the same subject.

Stff because this issue has come up numerous times. In addition you will get your answer faster than waiting for a post reply.

will this harness work with the 1998 E320? I previously owned a 99 VW passat 1.8t with an Alpine HU. I was hoping to transfer the head unit from the passat to my MB E320 1998.
