My wife has the factory V60 phone kit (with the Lingutronic). We are set up with AT&T (now Cingular).
The problem is that the phone is using the "old" TDMA network from AT&T. The service is incredibly bad - for some reason lately her phone won't ring on most incoming calls. Voice quality is terrible and lots of dropped calls.
As this was a VERY expensive option, I'd like to see if there is any way to upgrade/salvage the situation.
So, the question is this: is there any way to have the system modified to work with a GSM phone? Anyone done this and know part numbers, compatible phone(s), costs etc. Can the system be converted to us the UHI connector with a GSM phone?
Option 2 - Could we switch the phone/system to work with Verizon using their CDMA service (maybe that's just a new phone - or would that require something else hardware wise?)
Thanks for any thoughts!

I can get you a upgrade kit which will let you use the newer motorola phones. drsunilpatel@mac.com
Thanks, sunman - can they be GSM phones or just CDMA/TDMA?
