Video button on 2005 C Class Comand
Hi Guys,
I just brought a brand new 2005 model c class (Uk) with comand, its got the video button on it, when i press it, it goes to another screen and says no video any ideas how i can get this to work, my dealer hasnt got a clue whats its for!

you have the video button, but i do believe you still need the video modual that goes in the trunk. Its a R-G-B modual or if you have a 12v dvd player you can hard wire it in that way using the RGB from that.
Contact MbenzNL, he sells them. OR if your lucky you can find one that has a TV tuner built in on german EBAY, i think they sell for like 8 us bills or somehthing.

In order to use the Video feature, you need a TV tuner mounted in the trunk, harness, fiber optic cable, and antennas. All this can be purchased as a complete kit from STeve. steve@mbenznl.com You will also have to run a coaxial cable from the head unit to the trunk right side. I think he has a complete harness kit for your car as well.

The 2005 TV tuner is connected also via fibre optic for the sound and function controls.
