Question Activating Aux Input on COMAND

I have a 2001 S430 (US) with COMAND 2.5. In the owner's manual, it says that if I hit the Sys button and go into system settings, I can access an Auxillary Input sub-menu to turn Aux In on/off, etc. But when I follow those steps, I get the same screen without the Aux sub-menu. The Aux option is totally absent.

Can anyone help me figure out what's going on here so I can use the Aux In feature of my COMAND system.

(I should also mention that I have no Aux jack in the glove box. I am wiring one to the back of the unit via the C2 connector).
