CD players applicability - info needed
I'm hoping to install the trunk CD changer in my 1999 E300 Diesel. My car appears to have a fibre optic feed in the trunk (it's a small, flexible white cable with a single screw thread end).
Looking at Ebay, most of the newer units have fibre, but when I see a picture of the connector socket, it doesn't look like the screw-connector I have.
Long story, but what are the compatible models of changers I can easily install in my trunk?

I could be wrong, but that white cable with screwed connector doesn't
resemble fiber cable that I'm accustomed to seeing in MB or computer
networking. The 99-2002 fiber changers are MC 3010 and MC 3198.
If it were fiber, try shining a laser pointer into one end and seeing if
it lights up on the other end. If so, it's fiber.
