Does stock C320 HU have free input available?
I have a stock head unit in a 2001 C320. There is no
visible aux input on the front. Does anyone
know if there is a line in available anywhere on the
unit, including plain old rca inputs. I don't want
to rip anything apart just to look and see.
I basically want to attach a handheld MP3 player.
No, I don't want an FM modulator or a tape
adapter which I am not sure would even
work on the stock unit ?
Thanks,

..........there should be a an audio input in the glove compartment. It is a 1/8 stereo jack. I know this to be the case in vehicles equiped with command. I am not sure about other vehicles. Check your glove compartment.

Unfortunately, the only option I don't have but need
is the command. I believe the jack mentioned
is located where the CD changer is mounted ?
If that is the case, I can't see or get to it
with cd changer installed.
It fricking bad enough that the
car manufactures haven't agreed on
a digital bus standard. A couple of
analog inputs cost nothing.
Argh, thanks for the replies. I can't
believe how dificult it is customize these
cars in any manner !@#$
