COMAND is OUT...what to replace it with?

I f***ing hate COMAND and its crappy navigation features.

I want to yank it and replace it with something that will give me nav, Sirius capability, and will sound better.

Anyone have any suggestions? Is there a good double DIN nav setup? Flip-up single DIN unit with some custom work to fill the unused space? Something else?

Anyone done this, or have any good suggestions?

is there any way to retain the steering wheel button functionality if you switch to an aftermarket system?

I believe Alpine makes an adapter for it now. If you do a search, I'm sure the thread will pop up.
