CD Error - Magazine not Found

CD Error - Magazine not Found
Okay.. so my CD player decided to quit working today on my '02 E430.
The display states "Magazine not found"
So, went to the trunk, took the magazine out (6 disc holder), made sure none were jammed, and put the magazine back in.
Then, pressed the CD player button on the radio - Looked like it was about to play track 01 on CD1. Nothing happened, except "Magazine not found" displayed.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm hoping there is a simple fix, but based on my past experiences... There are no simple fixes with a MB!
Maybe it was that new Bon Jovi CD that made my player crazy??? =)

hey buddy,i have a C43 AMG 1999 with the same problems on my audio system, this is what i did,don't turn of the power button on your stereo when u turn the ignition off after parking the car,that means the stereo allways turns off when u turn off the ignition and turns on when u are going to start the car and drive,after this my changer never lost connection with the H.U. i never turn off the stereo,this is the only way for the system to work without problem all these cars have. if one of you members have another solution please reply.

Heyy!! i have the same frikin problem with my gayy car.. i have about 6 cd's in the changer and it says "magazine empty" what iam thinking about is just buying Xm Radio,, i herd it plays good music , you know so you dont have to keep playing the same cd's over and over .. i dont know its something to look into ,, i dont know how much it would cost to get the cd changer fixed.
