got the bluetooth puck for my w211...
I called aws, but they are clueless- they were very shocked that I already had the v60 puck. (I have a friend who works at motorola) anyone have any ideas why my car doesnt recognize when I end a call? I tried two bluetooth phones- motorola razr (verizon) and blackberry 8700 (cingular). my car is a 2003 w211 with v60s.

the ap50 radio allowed me to lookup the phonebook, but it doesnt recognize the hang up/end call which is even worse.
So to summarize- with the two bluetooth phones (razr and blackberry 8700) + v60 BT adapter + ap50 radio = phonebooks, callerID, place calls. The only BIG negative is that it can not recognize the end call.
razr/BB8700 + v60 BT adapter + eurocommand = place calls, callerID, end call. The only negative is that it can not lookup your phonebook.
I guess the most optimum solution would get steve to install the MHI + bluetooth module..... but I dont feel that the extra cost of a brand new system is worth it for now.
FWIW, you can indeed get the v60 BT adapter from mercedes wireless- you just have to put your foot down

I was made to understand that a BMW V60 works in a Mercedes Hands-free system so the puck should really work as well, or so I hope...
Can anyone confirm this? I also like to know specifically for the US comand, not other units.
Thanks,

It recognize when the call ends for sure. I can see the status via command control as well as the information window in the speedometer.
