Anyone care to take a shot at diagnosing this one??

02 E55 w/ UHI
MHI BT cradle
Razr or Q phone

From time to time the other party on the call comments that they are hearing an echo on their end. It has done it in my car with both phones, but never in the wifes car with either phone which is an 05 CLK 500 w/ MHI phone system.

Easiest thing to try is lowereing the audio volume level in your car during the call and ask if it helps.

It could be the phone service. My phone does this from time to time, even with out the bluetooth.

Turn off the phone and remove the battery for a few minutes and then try it again.

Thanks guys I will give it a try. Am waiting for a V60 cradle and puck and am hoping it performs better with the Q phone. Results with the MHI cradle have been less than impressive for audio quality.

I've also had the issue that asg describes above, try the hard reset too. When did you buy your MHI BT Module? There was a new software level upgrade round-about April that helps CDMA phone audio.

after much debate, I broke down and purchased the Argos BT today for $699. It will be installed in my 2002 S500. I plan to use it with my Moto Q.

Has anyone used the Argos with the Q yet?

Q works with retrofit Puck but has still some issues with the MHI Bluetooth adaptor for MY 2005 and newer cars.

One hint for anyone getting bugs when using smart phones with Bluetooth sytems: Close all running applications.

Another hint for all non-certified phones: Do not dial or make a call untill phonebook download is complete. You can't control incomming calls but you can limit sync issues by not making calls.
