Navigation Add On
Hello,
I am new here. We just purchased a 2004 500E with 24k miles. The vehicle is in the dealer for open recalls and service.
My wife currently has a 2001 C-320 and she loves it like it is her child.
At this time the 500E does not have navigation or parktronics.
I asked the service manager how much it would be to add the navigation kit and I am awaiting his answer.
My questions are:
Has anyone experienced adding navigation and/or parktronics to their vehicle?
If so, what had to be done? Is it a kit? Does a DVD player have to be added, etc?
What was the approximate cost?
The vehicle has the stock Bose system w/ 6 CD changer.

Hello,
The dealer just quoted me $2500.00 to install the DVD Nav; $2000 for the kit and $500 for labor.
This sounds extremely high!
Does anyone know where I can purchase the MB DVD Nav. kit from a reputable dealer?
