Does anyone know if this unit (A220 820 59 89 COMAND) is manufactured by Alpine, Becker, Pioneer, or some other manufacturer?
Need to know to seek repairs in the US, perferably Mid-Atlantic and would like to search for parts first.
Thanks,
Buddy

This is who DaimlerChrysler uses to fix their electronic products.

Good luck getting parts. The FTC has not been enforcing regulations that require components be made available for years. Servicing electric products has diminshed to the point that some manufacturers like Nokia don't support their products at all. If you break your phone, it is your fault, buy a new one. Sony won't repair anything that is more than 7 years old.
German car makers are required by German law to make parts for ten years after the last unit is built. It only applies in Germany. Try to buy a trim part for a three year old BMW in the USA, and they tell you it is trade in time anyhow.
