COMAND TV-Tuner De-programmed? NEED HELP!

I purchase my COMAND/TV Tuner from Steve and everything was working great until yesterday. I was installing the Aux connector and after re-connecting everything, COMAND no longer recognized the TV tuner (NO TV!). I uninstalled the Aux connector, hoping that it would reset itself - no such luck. In addition, looks like I lost the Navigation display on the speedometer display as well!!! Question: DO I NEED TO GET COMAND RE-PROGRAMMED again???

If so, do I have to wait for Steve's next trip to the US? I can't wait that long!!! Anyone know where/someone (preferably in Florida) that can reprogram so I can get my TV tuner back?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Derek,

I don't know exactly what went wrong here, but usually if you install an AUX input you shouldn't loose TV... or any other features for that matter.

I will try to get some info from Steve - or maybe he can reply your mail you sent to us.

looks like you have lost CANBUS on your car to the comand. I can also assume that the steering wheel buttons don't work anymore and also the comand does not turn off with the car and illumination does not work. Check and recheck your connections. Chances are one of the pins brown or brown/red have popped out of the connecter when you reseated the connector

Thanks! I did check the connections and it looks like i got the speedometer display back, however I still get the NO TV! I checked the fuse in the TV tuner and that was fine. What else could it be?

I would really like to get the TV tuner back because that's how i'm running my Ipod through the second set of A/V inputs in the tuner. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It looks like all of my settings/destinations is still on my COMAND as well.
