How do you program presets

I program them with a finger.
Push the star key and the station you want to preset like 003 for Sirius Love, or 098 for the Stones, or even 100 for Howard Stern. The radio will tune the station. When you hear the station push and hold the button 0 to 9 you want to remember that station. Hold it until you hear a dulcet beep, and you are all set on that preset.
