Ok, I think im missing this feature.. overlooking how to turn it on. My 99 Porsche 911 and my 02 BMW 3 series radios show the name of the song thats playing on the radio.. on certain stations that have that special type of signal.


How do I make my SL500's radio do this? or does it even have this feature.. I would think it should... Right now all I see is the radio stations numbers.

That feature is called RDS. It is not available in most American areas but is popular in Europe. Maybe the "RDS" keyword will help you find more info about it in your manuals or on the forum. Sorry, I don't know if Benz supports it.
