I have a 1999 E320 4 Matic (W210) with bose and without nav. I wanted to put a double din headunit in and was wondering if it it was possible without paying $200+ for another wood panel. im not to fond of the comand's features and wanted to install an eclipse. I want to know whether i can move my A/C controls to the space below the current single din HU. That way i have a double din space and the screen wont be too low. also is it possible to remove the wood piece between the a/c and radio in order to obtain a double din space? I do know someone that is proficient in car Audio and he may be able to make me a support bracket, i just want 2 know if it could be done. Any input would be greatly appreciate, especially STEVES
