Black Birds Eye Maple panel or board?
I just had a Pioneer Avic Z1 navigation system installed in my 02 CLK55. The installer did a nice job with it, but I would love to surround the system with a black birds eye maple frame. My interior comes with that finish and I'm trying to find a place or a person from which I can get a board or panel in black birds eye maple that I can convert into a surround frame/border of the system. Basically it would have to be a flat piece approx 10" X 10".
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

I believe this company in Germany makes pieces that you might use. I would guess it would have to be custom made tho.

There is only one company in the USA that can do what you need to. Atleast that I know of. You'll have to send the piece you want matched with a sample. The company is phoenix imaging in Texas. I had a custom bezel matched to the factory wood.

Try www.forrestautomotive.com call these guys and they can match anything with wood grain that you send them. You just need another small sample to send with it....Uniqueautosports on the Speed Channel uses them.
