C240: Need advice for MP3 player integration

Hello all just came into possession of a 01' C240, but unfortunately it doesn't come with CD player only tape player. So the dilemma is either to install aftermarket stereo (which would unable me to use steering wheel mounted buttons), or CD changer, or somehow integrate MP3 player into this factory stereo(which i like to do most). All in all, I have no idea as to how to do any of that, proly get it done, but wanted to get your opinion as to which route would be most feasible. I don't care much for the greatest sound factor, just need to be able to listen to my CDs or mp3s.

If you want to keep the factory deck your best bet will be a wired FM modulator.

Other options are wireless fm modulator (easy but not as good quality), or a tape adapter (hello 1995?).

One other thing is an aftermarket deck, and Ive heard of an IR device that can mimic the steering wheel controls. But from what Ive heard its a pain.

You can get a "smart" tape adapter which allows you to use your steering wheel controls to fast forward and rewind in cassette mode, this translates into skipping songs on the mp3 player. I know apple sells one for their ipods.

Here's the coolest MP3 player. Should just pop right in.

Other dial face colors available; click around website.

Will not fit. Better brush up on the W203. (j/k)
