U.S. Spec NTG2 R Class AND GL Class audio/dvd front monitor

U.S. Spec NTG2 R Class AND GL Class audio/dvd front monitor
OK - Lots of posts on this, but I see various answers from various countries etc, so my questions ARE FOR THE 2007 MODEL YEAR UNITED STATES SPECIFICATION COMMAND.
1) My R Class 320 cdi (no navigation) and;
2) My GL Class 320 cdi (with navigation)
HOWEVER:
Question. I want first the GL Class to have a video & audio input, your basic red/white/yellow RCA plug in module, so that I can pipe Video/Audio to the front screen while either stopped or driving. (Yes, I am married and can easily tune out and not pay attention when I want). I plan on adding the KVH DirecTV dish atop the car so that I can receive DirecTV, CNN, HBO, etc etc.
This GL Class also has the FACTORY twin screens for the back seat.
I have heard all this unlocking stuff, and know that there is a simple wiring harness that needs to be installed or something. I know it can't be turned on by punching 'codes' into a U.S. Model.
Anyone have any UP TO DATE knowledge on how to do this
in the GL, and will the same response work in my R Class without the rear screens or Navi?
