Can Distance remaining be displayed in Full Screen Map?

Can Distance remaining be displayed in Full Screen Map?
In my 2005 E55 with COMAND and Navigation, I can get coordinate and satellite info to display on the bottom portion of the screen. However, I have to go to the "Info" section to see how many miles further it is to my destination. Is there a way to display this info on the full screen map?

my 2005 has the same issue, no miles remaining to destination and was told that "thats just how it works". Honestly, my 2001 is in many ways better. It displays the remaining miles, I like the warning distances/alerts until next turn better (both audio and visual). Graphics aren't quite as modern as the '05 and it is cd based but I like it better.
